Perfectly positioned

Situated down a small country lane, Hendersick House sits alongside a tiny community of smaller properties and is surrounded by National Trust land & the SW Coastal Footpath. Once you arrive you will immediately notice the peace & tranquillity of your surroundings.

On your doorstep

Some of our guests never leave the confines of our 7 beautiful acres; those who want to leave the car & explore on foot have the option of taking the SW Coast Path a short distance to Talland Bay or further afield to Polperro, heading east, or Looe, heading west (about 50 minutes walk).

Talland Bay offers a beautiful spot where you can enjoy your choice of two cafes, the rocky beach, with sandy stretches, where you can also hire kayaks. Talland Bay Hotel can also be reached on foot, a beautiful property where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea & dinner in their 2 AA Rosette restaurant.

Within A Few Mins Drive

The fishing port of Looe is just a five-minute drive.  A bustling town, divided into East & West Looe, where you’ll find a great range of shops, pubs, cafes & restaurants to enjoy.

With a safe, sandy beach, and a large array of boat & fishing trips, it’s always a great place for water sports enthusiasts too. You can discover the Harbour Heritage Centre in West Looe and learn about Looe’s proud fishing & boat building history; and in East Looe, the Old Guildhall Museum & Goal has a fascinating collection of artifacts, maps & photographs.

A similar distance in the opposite direction, you’ll reach the quintessentially Cornish fishing village of Polperro. The white-washed cottages and shops, spilling down the valley beside the river Pol, until they reach the picturesque harbour. As with Looe, you have a wide choice of places to eat & drink, as well as boat trips along the coast to both Looe & Fowey.

In addition to two art galleries, Polperro is home to a number of wonderful artists & artisans; the Museum of Fishing & Smuggling, and the famous Model Village, where you walk amongst a scale model of the Village’s buildings and harbour.
