Hendersick House is a beautiful stone-built former Cornish farmhouse. The property is both our home & a self-catering sanctuary for those seeking peace & quiet; allowing time to relax in beautiful surroundings and a gentle atmosphere of timeless tranquillity.
Located in SE Cornwall, between Looe & Polperro, Hendersick House is but a short stroll away from the SW Coast Path, with far-reaching views towards Looe Island & Talland Bay.
With 7 acres of grounds to explore, mile upon mile of coast path to wander; your own private walled garden…. Hendersick House is the perfect antidote to escape from your busy everyday life.

Inside, comfort meets with simplicity. Whether it’s relaxing in the guest lounge, sitting around the family-style kitchen table enjoying dinner or retiring to your bedroom for a peaceful night’s sleep (or even a siesta!)
Away from the fast-paced modern world which can, at times, seem overwhelming; within minutes of arriving at Hendersick House, you’ll sink into a feeling of calm. The birdsong, the night-time hoot of an owl, the distant hammering of a woodpecker… & the occasional deer wandering through the garden, all help ground you with the natural surroundings.
Please note that Hendersick House is not suitable for those with reduced mobility and those who would not be comfortable walking & navigating uneven surfaces.
There are 4 stone steps up to the front door. The bedrooms & toilets/bathrooms are on the first floor with a staircase of 12 steps between the ground and first floor.

You will be looked after by Charlie & Julie, owners & custodians of Hendersick House. We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful corner of Cornwall.
Our living area is discreetly set apart from the guest accommodation with our own separate entrance to the rear. We are on hand, should you need us, for a friendly chat, directions or help in making your time in Cornwall as enjoyable as we can.
Hendersick House is a living home & way of life, with a long history of both farming & hospitality. We like to think we play our part in providing you, as our guests, the space to relax, and perhaps find a little peace away from the pressure of the modern world.
